There is something incredibly special about Hawai'i. The beauty, the life, the activities, the weather, the people, and the food! The list goes on. You truly feel like you are "a million miles from the mainland."

Hawai'i is one of my favorite destinations to explore, recharge, and just chill! Once you are on the islands, it is the epitome of paradise. The activities are endless: hiking, diving, surfing, fishing, helicopter rides, whale watching, etc.

I have had the pleasure of traveling to the islands of O'ahu, Maui, Kaua'i, and Hawai'i. All are breathtakingly beautiful and unique.

Hawai'i
While on the big island, we spent our time on the "dry side" in Kona. Going whale watching, cruising alongside a dolphin pod, watching the sunsets, and enjoying every minute in the cool, clear water.
One of my favorite experiences in Kona was going on the Manta Ray night dive with the Kona Diving Company. It was one of the most spectacular experiences I have ever had underwater. There were about thirty Manta Rays with wingspans up to twelve feet.
As they fed on the plankton, some would swim only inches away from the divers, belly to belly. I felt like I was in the middle of a scene from Blue Planet. Incredible!
O'ahu
On the island of O'ahu, we spent our time in Honolulu and on the North Shore. Some of the coolest surf spots I have seen.

The waves are perfect nearly all the way up and down the coast and, of course, Pipeline is just down the road. You could stop anywhere along the North Shore and watch the blue sets roll in.

But, one of the highlights of the North Shore was the food.

I had one of the best burgers at a local spot, Seven Brothers, on the North Shore.

Everything from the meat, to the bun, and the homemade sauce was just delicious. I definitely recommend making a stop at Seven Brothers if you are anywhere near the North Shore, Oahu.

Kaua'i
I have only been on the island of Kaua'i a few times but it is always one of my favorite islands to visit. It feels like you are in the country in Hawai'i and is so wonderfully lush and green. It is so beautiful from the top of Waimea Canyon all the way down to the spectacular beaches.
You can find some of the cutest little shops and restaurants from Hanalei to Po'ipū Beach, especially at Kukui'ula village. Had one of the best breakfast pizzas at Hanalei Bread Company and wicked ice cream at Lappert's.

Maui
Maui is always such a fun and beautiful stop on the islands of Hawai'i. The diving, fishing, and surfing are just a few of the main attractions for me. Not to mention the legendary Jawssurfing spot to check out some serious waves. We have created so many wonderful memories on the island of Maui for so many years and can't wait to make even more!

I always find Hawai'i to be the perfect place to be creative and get inspired. It is so peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful you can't help but grab your guitar and pad of paper and just start writing.

Hawai'i is an incredible place and I can't wait to go back!
